About
For the past twelve years, Keith has been an analyst in the Anthropology Department of the University of Illinois - Chicago, where his focus is military history and anthropology as related to lost military personnel. He has pursued those interests throughout Asia, the Pacific islands and Europe, concentrating on World War II and Vietnam War losses.
In addition to his UIC activities, Keith is an investor and entrepreneur in the financial services and strategic minerals industries. Prior to that, Keith founded or was an early stage senior manager of a number of multi-billion dollar startups in the financial services or property and casualty insurance industries in the US and Europe. Some of these startups (Progressive Direct- $10B Sales, AIG UK- Since sold) represented new divisions created to exploit emerging market opportunities for preexisting firms, others (Esurance-sold to Allstate for over $1B) represented venture capital funded startups.
Keith has degrees in Finance and Economics from the Wharton School and in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago.
