About
Jessica Bishop is an M.A. student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Her academic research focuses on North American historic zooarchaeology. Since 2022, she has worked for the Center for the Recovery and Identification of the Missing (CRIM) at UIC, in partnership with the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. At CRIM, she engages in research and field work related to missing personnel from World War II in the Philippines. She holds bachelor’s degrees from the UIC and Columbia College Chicago.
