Aldo Foe and Michael Colton Receive Honors and Awards
CRIM Archaeologist Aldo Foe was awarded a Dean's Scholar Fellowship from UIC's Graduate College in recognition for his scholarly achievement for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year! The award will support Al for work on his dissertation "Nagara and the Masjid: Mosque Construction and the Political Economy of Islamization in Early Modern Period (EMP) Indonesia, 15th-19th C."
Also, CRIM Researcher, undergraduate Michael Colton, was invited to join Phi Beta Kappa. Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious honor society in the country, recognizes academic achievement in the Liberal Arts.
